Our potato’s were chitted over the weekend (we’re improvising with corrugated sheets in the polytunnel this year).
This year we’ve gone for Charlotte again as they were a firm fave last year. Maris Bard which is great for boiling and Golden Wonder which makes a fab roastie and chip! Both new varieties to us, so we’ll see how we get on!
Great to see them arrive in big brown sacks..although still so much plastic wrapping when we opened them up. Seems a little pointless two lots of bagging, but understandable for smaller orders.
